INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROMOTER FEATURES
TO ADD A NEW EVENT:
- You must first be a Registered Promoter to Add Events.
- On the Home Page, Click the 'Event Entry' button under the
'Promoters' heading.
- Complete all fields on the Event Entry screen with the exception of
the Sanctioning Organizations. These 4 Sanctioning Fields are optional
and may be complete or left blank as appropriate.
- When you are finished, Click the 'Submit Request' button.
- If your Promoter Account has Probationary Status, a staff member will
review the event information before it is released to competitors. If
your Promoter ID is Fully Activated, your event will be posted without
waiting for review.
- Since we recieve listings from many sources, we ask that you verify
the event you are submitting is not already listed in our database.
Duplicate entries may confuse competitors and cause unnecessary phone
calls.
- To make changes to a previously submitted event, PLEASE DO NOT
resubmit it as a new event. Refer to the instructions for 'Updating an
Existing Event' .
TO UPDATE AN EXISTING
EVENT:
- On the Home Page, Click the 'Update' button under the 'Promoters'
heading.
- Enter your Promoter ID and Password in the provided space and click
the 'Submit Request' button.
- Once your ID and Password have been validated, you will recieve a
Promoter Maintenance screen.
- Scroll to the bottom of this screen to the List of Events you have
submitted.
- In the rightmost column of the event list is an 'UPDATE' link. Click
the word 'UPDATE' to the right of the event you wish to modify. If the
event is not displayed in your event list, it was obtained from another
source and you will need to contact our staff to make the change.

- You will recieve an update screen, similar to the New Event Entry
Screen.
- Change the event information as necessary and click the 'Save
Changes' button near the bottom of the screen.
- When your update has been accomplished, you will be returned to the
Promoter Maintenance Screen.
TO DELETE AN EVENT:
- On the Home Page, Click the 'Update' button under the 'Promoters'
heading.
- Enter your Promoter ID and Password in the provided space and click
the 'Submit Request' button.
- Once your ID and Password have been validated, you will recieve a
Promoter Maintenance screen.
- Scroll to the bottom of this screen to the List of Events you have
submitted.
- In the rightmost column of the event list is an 'UPDATE' link. Click
the word 'UPDATE' to the right of the event you wish to modify. If the
event is not displayed in your event list, it was obtained from another
source and you will need to contact our staff to make the change.

- You will recieve an update screen, similar to the New Event Entry
Screen.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the 'Delete' button.
- When your update has been accomplished, you will be returned to the
Promoter Maintenance Screen, and you should notice that the event you
selected is no longer included at the bottom of the screen.
- This method will remove your event from ALL Karate Tournament Central
Lists. If you wish to let Competitors know that the event have been
Canceled, you may wish to consider changing the event name as
illustrated in the following example: BEFORE:
'Super Karate Classic' AFTER: 'Super
Karate Classic (Canceled)'
TO CHANGE YOUR CONTACT
INFORMATION:
- On the Home Page, Click the 'Update' button under the 'Promoters'
heading.
- Enter your Promoter ID and Password in the provided space and click
the 'Submit Request' button.
- Once your ID and Password have been validated, you will recieve a
Promoter Maintenance Screen.
- Change your Promoter Contact Information as desired. Please Note that
you may change your Password, but no your Promoter ID Number. Also Note
that although your Promoter Status is displayed, it may not be changed
on this screen. A Promoter is moved from Probationary to Active status
automatically after you have submitted a small number of events that
pass our validation checks.
- When you are finished with your changes, Click the 'Update Promoter
Data' button. Changing your contact information here will effect all the
events listed in the lower portion of the Promoter Maintenance Screen.
- You will be returned to the Karate Tournament Central Home Page when
your changes has been saved.
