Young Martial Artists Compete To Help Save Children's Lives

Many young martial arts students from Huard's Ju-Jitsu Karate Inc in Winslow, Maine worked really hard this spring earning pledges in the community to compete in the 2005 Battle of Maine Martial Arts Championships to help save Children's Lives. In addition to the pledges and donations received by community members, $1.00 of every spectator ticket from the Battle of Maine was donated to CMN.

On Saturday June 4, 2005 Mark Huard and many young martial artists from Huard's Martial Arts of Winslow presented a final check of $10,729.75!!! during the 2005 Children's Miracle Network Telethon at the Bangor Mall.

Here is a list of all the young martial artists that raised funds here in Central Maine. Congratulations to each and every one of you for taking the extra time to help.
